history

I first started licensing in 1989. That year L.L. Bean picked up designs for t-shirts. Shortly afterwards, Marcel Schurman (now Papyrus) licensed designs for stationery and gift bags and Excell Home Fashions found me as well for shower curtains and tabletop. Since then I have licensed designs to over 30 companies and enjoyed every minute of it. I love the partnership and collaboration licensing involves. Being thrown a word or concept to run with is exciting; interpreting it in my own style is just plain fun. I pride myself on being extremely easy to work with and always bringing projects in on time. My style is fresh, lively and a bit tongue in cheek with color, line work and hand painting being its hallmarks. I also bring to the table my own ideas and directions and an extensive library of work. Licensing allows me to form great, long standing relationships with people and companies. It also allows me the privilege of being a working artist.
